King of the Dung Heap

How about them South Carolina predictions?  Now we wait a week to see how the Democratic side of the equation works out.

I made some unofficial and unpublished predictions for Nevada.   Good thing, too.  Although, I did correctly call it Clinton-Obama-Edwards.

Not so much for the GOP caucus.  Ron Paul surprised me.  He shouldn’t have, but he did.  Nevada is full of Mormons and independent, Western-Libertarian types.   We can’t be shocked about where the Mormon vote went.

Lesson for the GOP:  ignore Paul at your peril.

When will Fred drop out of the race? He has absolutely no hope of finishing in the top 3 in Fla, now that Guliani is finally in play. What’s the point of continuing the charade? He finished 3rd in SC only because Romney realized he wasn’t going to win and bolted on to Florida.

Kudos to your prognostication. I mis-read some tea leaves, but I stand by my prediction (removing the WHEN from the equation) that Fred is dead and will be pushing daisies for McClain soon enough.

Correct about Fred’s finish in SC. His performance as “Candidate #3” played better in SC. Romney figured that he would be fighting it out with Fred for third and opted to go spend his dough elsewhere. Why spend millions if you aren’t going to either win or make it close?

If Fred makes it past Feb. 5th without withdrawing from the race, I’m a Chinese fighter pilot. His campaign must think he will come on strong in the rest of the Tuesday-formerly-known-as-Super states.
