As much as I would like to blame John Edwards for this, the responsibility lies with me.
Against my better judgment and because it would be too much trouble to write a separate post, my South Carolina picks were made WAY too far in advance. Totally my fault.
As for Edwards finishing a distant third in South Carolina. Totally his own fault. By all means, continue throwing your money down the sewer and keep going, Johnny. See if you can stick around for enough delegates to become “king maker” at the convention. Seriously. It will be fun.
Maybe John Fitzgerald Obama will throw you a bone and give you a position within New Camelot. Then again, maybe you should go home and spend time with your wife. She still has cancer, right?
